Who we are
We are scholars and language activists driven by
a deep enthusiasm for the rich diversity of indigenous languages in Indonesia,
with a particular focus on Austronesian and Papuan language families.
Our work
is grounded in rigorous research that seeks to document, describe, and better
understand the linguistic information, features, histories, and sociocultural
contexts of these languages, many of which are underdocumented and increasingly
endangered.
By engaging with both Austronesian and Papuan languages across
Indonesia, we position ourselves as committed participants in preserving
linguistic diversity and fostering community-based knowledge.
